Enough said. This thing is great for going over and over the questions. It will definitely prepare you for the written.

The idea of the app is great. Execution not so great. I have limited funds and limited time to study and I just paid $50 for this app, another $20 for the audio and it crashes every 2-3 minutes. Refund my $70

After encountering some problems with the app after using it for awhile, I proceeded to go onto the website only to find that dauntless does not offer a customer service phone number, but only a "helpdesk" option which is basically an email address with no promise of when they will get back with you. They do however give a lengthy explanation of why they dont bother to offer a phone number to call. They also offer an in app upgrade for $19.99 which is the MP3 review of the questions. After downloading this, I found that only about 87 of the questions were offered in MP3 format as opposed to the 800+ questions offered in the app for review. After Submitting a problem ticket, you will receive an email that states "if your message warrants it, you will receive a reply soon." I would think the fact that I purchased an app from dauntless instead of one of the other countless companies that I couldve given my business to would warrant a quick response. They also suggest that you might want to try looking up your issue online. I think for further Apps to purchase, I will use my time searching online for a different company to purchase apps room.

Dont buy this app until they fix the issue with the current version. They say it only affects 5% of customers, but it doesnt work on either my iphone6 or my iPad mini.

Even with version 9.6.2 and many attempts to reinstall app it continues to crash on IPhone 6plus and IPad Mini 2 and when it does open to test questions shows a blank screen no questions whatsoever. Have attempted to resolve through support. No luck! Hopefully gets resolved soon, was a great app.

I used this exclusively to study for the FAA exam. The app has a number of minor issues, but overall it was a highly efficient tool for preparation. Passed with near perfect score.

This app in conjunction with the Learn by Listening add on helped me pass the exam on the first try. Most of the questions on my test were exactly the same or were the same type with different numerical figures. If you use this app and study the explanations you will get a good score.

Ive tried most of the leading test prep apps, this one being the most expensive by a wide margin. The questions are pretty much the same, but the look and feel of this app leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like something from the 90s, full of weird sound effects and puffy clouds that add nothing to the actual learning. You can save yourself a lot of money with one of the other alternatives, most of which are easier to use (and easier on the eyes).

I was about to write a glowing review, but after an encounter with a very rude help desk agent, my review dropped 3 stars. Great app, lots of good features, worth the price, seldom for the rude employee(s) they have handling customer service.

This app was great for learning the ground portion of a part 61 program. It was so good that Im now looking at it for the rest of my ratings as I continue my flight training. I definitely recommend it!

I have reviewed several online courses and have found Dauntless to be the most informative, concise and and easy to understand course regarding information regarding written flight preparation. Also the information has made my actual flight school much easier. I can highly recommend this application and test prep!

I purchased this app a few months ago and began reviewing with it for the Private Pilot Airplane written exam, in conjunction with a couple other textbooks and the FAR/AIM. I found the app for the iPad easy to use and does pretty much as advertised, and I believe that without it I would not have done as well in the exam. I prepared for a couple of months and by the time my practice tests were consistently above 95% I felt ready for the real thing. My test score was 97%, missing 2 out of 61 questions. I was quite happy with that. I believe that I could have gotten 100% were it not for the fact that there were about 6-8 questions in the exam that were not included in the apps repertory. Most of these could be reasoned out based on questions covered in the app, however, one of the two missed questions was one I had never seen before. Also, a good half of the questions were phrased somewhat differently than here, and the figures in some were also different, so dont memorize, make sure you understand the concepts and can apply them to similar but not exactly identical questions. I know the FAA is constantly changing the question set, so I imagine about 10% will not even be covered in this app, so expect that. Thats the reason for the "almost" in my reviews title. Some advice for the real test: take your time, read each question very carefully, and each and every answer, do not hurry through them. Some questions appear to be duplicates of others you may have seen, but they may be worded differently, others have minor differences in context you have to be careful about. Do the easy ones first and flag the more challenging ones for later, and above all do not hurry through it, use all the time provided to review, I changed a few of my answers during my second time through and would have missed those had it not been for going through each one a second time around. Good luck, with some serious study and the help of this app theres no reason you should not do very well in this exam.

I have been studying my a$& off and this is a must have app. It explains/shows you the answer clear and concise (when needed). Private Pilot Helicopter

Ive used this for a long time. Its fast, stable, relevant and constantly updated. All good.
