I am prepping for my private, written exam and purchased several prep aids. This app has the best illustrations and explanations. They
obviously put a great deal of time and thought into the presentation of the material, and also the different modalities of learning; there is an audible mode and a flash card system and you can customize the way you prepare.
I keep this handy on my iPad and it has accelerated my learning as I am able to pick it up frequently when I would normally be wasting time. Ten minutes here and there really add up to learning gains with this app, since it easily and quickly isolates missed questions.
The only problem I have with it so far is that I am not seeing the charts and sectional questions I should be seeing for the glider rating. What happened to Cooperstown, Sandpoint Airports, and the dead reckoning questions for glider folks?
This is a five star pick up for me, personally as it so beautifully supplements my other learning materials, the only thing it is lacking are the more difficult chart and sectional questions.
